Appeal Hearing

Derbyhaven residents are delighted to announce that we have won the appeal against the planning consent for the estate of 21 new dwellings on the golf course in Derbyhaven.

The Minister for Local Government and the Environment accepted the recommendations of the planning inspector, who heard the appeal earlier this year, and "directed that the Planning Committee's decision to grant approval should be reversed and that the application should be refused".

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all the people throughout the Island and beyond who have supported and encouraged us throughout the epic two year battle to preserve the character of this beautiful location.
